“Imprint” is a 16-page digital photo zine that merges the unpredictability of film photography with the imperfect charm of risograph-inspired textures.

Each image, drawn from places meaningful to me—from Hanoi to Ohio, New York, and Maine—carries emotional residue rather than just geographic memory. Dreamy colors and hazy layers echo how recollection blurs over time.

To confront the shift from analog to digital, I weave in ASCII accents that expose the photo’s transformation into data.

The project becomes a personal archive and a gift: a tactile and emotional time capsule exploring how art preserves memory, relationships, and lived experience.
