culture show visual identity
These are the graphics I had the privilege of creating for Denison University's first Vietnamese Culture Show, which was curated by a group of talented Vietnamese students, and effectively showcased and promoted the rich and vibrant culture of Vietnam.
I contributed to developing the main idea behind the campaign, which is a wordplay in Vietnamese. “Thăm” has a double meaning: “visit” and “lucky draw.” The culture show “visits” Vietnamese music and performing arts, highlighting the efforts of international students studying abroad, as well as the internal and external challenges they encounter, which are often “a lucky draw” and overlooked.

The lotus motif is repeated, as the lotus is Vietnam’s national flower, symbolizing purity, resilience, and optimism. The lotus rises from mud, just as the Vietnamese people overcame hardships through hard work, determination, and a hope for a better future.
