“Body of Blood” - Plaster cast installation

In the plaster cast installation “Body of Blood,” I create sculptural forms from plaster strips cast directly on my body and present them with abstract projection in public space. These casts confront my vulnerability and frame my body as a sacred entity, turning it into a visible, shared site of menstruation-related experience and reflection.

The projection, which mimics the cycle of menstruation and the movement of blood, merges digital imagery with the physical plaster forms to open a public dialogue about menstruation as a normal bodily function and to reframe it as a source of empowerment rather than stigma.
