“The Last Train” Stop-motion Animation

"The Last Train" is a collaborative stop-motion animation project that I worked on with my talented colleague, Duy (Z) Nguyen.

This animation serves as a metaphor for death, departure, and acceptance—topics that can be challenging to convey, especially in our early 20s.

Through "The Last Train," we explored various aspects of stop-motion techniques, including set design, character design, post-production, voice dubbing and recording, as well as conceptual thinking.

We hope that, despite some imperfections, the animation resonates deeply with you.
Thank you, Z, for making this production possible, and Phoenix for such a fun voice recording session.
